CO2 Laser Resurfacing

6 weeks post treatment
Example of healing process

Pearl CO2 Laser Resurfacing utilizes laser energy in very short pulses to remove thin layers of the skin with minimal heat damage that other resurfacing treatments may cause.

We call this treatment the “10 years in 10 days” procedure.

Who is a good candidate?
Men and women with uneven skin tone, wrinkles, scarring, pigmentation, large pores, enlarged oil glands, loose skin.

When/ how often should I get treatments?
1-3 treatments are recommended depending on the current condition of your skin and your skin goals. Treatments can be done once every 1-3 months.

How do I prepare for my treatment?
Avoid blood thinners 1 week before your treatment.
Smokers should stop for 2 weeks prior to your treatment- this will inhibit healing.

Discontinue retinol and other exfoliants approx 1 week pre treatment. Skincare will be recommended to optimize your treatments and give you long-lasting results.

Notify us if you are prone to cold sores or fever blisters.

How should I expect to feel after my treatment?
CO2 resurfacing has approx 10 days of downtime.

Your skin is expected to be very sensitive and red. Swelling and redness are expected. You will be given specific post care instructions for your treatment. Ice and elevated sleeping the first 3 days may help reduce swelling.
